Finding the right interview outfit is an important part of your overall presentation in interview. The idea is to look professional yet contemporary, choosing styles appropriate to your age and body shape. Choose colors that compliment your skin tone and enhance your features. Personally, I'm a huge fan of color. I think it's a wonderful opportunity to showcase your personality, sense of style, and flair for life! Here are some ideas for those competing at the "Miss" level.
I am a huge fan of jewel tones, and this blue is vibrant and eye catching! It's the perfect length for interview and I love the neckline! Blue is a color that calms, so you'll be sure to put the judges at ease!
Love this Banana Republic sheath dress in burnt orange! Simple and classic in a warm hue perfect for fair skinned ladies with brown, dark auburn or black hair! Also comes in Wild Orchid Pink which would look fantastic on a blonde!
A nice crisp white will have you looking like a breath of fresh air! I love the belt! This will work best against skin with olive undertones!
Radiate confidence in this beautiful turquoise sheath! This happens to be my favorite color! Find it at Bloomingdales!
Stick to closed toes shoes! Choose a shoe style that will elongate your leg line. We don't want our eyes to be drawn to your feet! I'm still a fan of the nude heel, but I wouldn't be afraid to change it up as long as the shoes aren't distracting to the eye. I suggest staying away from extreme platforms and chunky styles. Classic is always in fashion!
I hope this helps! Happy shopping ladies and best wishes on your upcoming pageant interview! Let everything you do be with purpose, and you'll truly shine!
